We are a gathering of believers trying to establish a church of Acts. We are in the daily process of discovering what it means to be a New Testament church. We meet regularly on Sundays. We would like to begin other home churches as our group becomes too large for our meeting place. We would also like to network with likeminded individuals who are wanting to extend the Kingdom of God in Jesus' name.

At a recent house church conference, before a panel discussion was about to begin, I whispered to Les Buford that I bet the first question was going to be: "how do we handle the children?" Sure enough, it was. This, in my opinion, is the number one question asked by those contemplating doing house church. It is a tremendous stumbling block. But it shouldn't be.

Minister Mark P. Brown and wife Mrs. TWanna Y. Brownm along with their young daughter Breinea began church services nightly in 2003. Liberty was founded in 2002 by Min. and Mrs Brown as an outreach ministry, going out teaching others about the word of GOD. Today the minstry has grown to not only outreach, but home church, homeschool ministry and a work from home center.

- Why Do People Home Church?
The reasons that people "home church" are as diverse as the people who make up the gatherings. This is not an exhaustive explanation and will no doubt evolve as time goes on. These thoughts originated from responses to this question on HCDL.
Some of us simply came to the conclusion that home church is the pattern as revealed in the scripture for the church to meet and were metaphorically dragged from the traditional "church" kicking and screaming by our conscience and understanding of the scripture.
