Dawn’s Heartfelt Corner is a new-founded organization that exists to meet the needs of the community through communication in schools, homeless shelters, jails, hospitals, nursing homes, & various places of need. We will bring support & encouragement to the disabled, hurting, lonely, neglected, & troubled teens. I, personally understand what it feels like to go through a mishap in your own, personal life and feel like you have no hope. In 2000, I was in a dangerous automobile accident which left me with catastrophic consequences. Being I almost died in an automobile accident, I had a severe skull fracture and neurological damage to the brain. Brain surgery had to be performed immediately because I was bleeding heavily on the right side of my brain. Now, I want to reach out to the community as I have been so fortunate to be alive. Dawn’s Heartfelt Corner has hooked up with “Seminole County Board”, “The Dare Program (dealing with drinking and drugs)”and we are waiting to hear from “Orange County Board”. We will go into Public schools, speak to middle school & high school students, and tell them the consequences of drinking & driving. Also, we will go to the homeless shelters, feed, speak to men & women of all races, & pass out bibles upon request. Dawn’s Heartfelt Corner will visit; speak to the elderly in nursing homes. We will also start a youth Christian rap band to reach out in song to teenagers in schools, youth meetings, & troubled teens. These songs have to do with drinking, drugs, guns, clicks, sex, violence, & everything that affects our youth. We plan to do our own CD, have hats & t-shirts. The youth is our next generation! Also, a monthly newsletter will be written and passed out. We would like it to go into jail cells. In time, we plan on making house visits to hospitals, visiting the sick, & going to Public jails. A monthly meeting will be held to teach & equip us to be disciples of our Lord. We will accomplish all this through fundraising events to sell poetry I have written, put into picture frames, people that will partner with us, & love gifts from businesses & organizations. Our motto is “Touching one life at a time.” We believe in helping out the community as Dawn has survived this horrific auto accident. She coincides with others, feels their pain, heartache, & wants to help. Everything “Dawn’s Heartfelt Corner brings in, a portion of it will go to help such organizations as “Orlando Union Rescue Mission, (They help out those that have no where to go, need food & a place to live until they can get on their own feet again.) Your donations will go to “Food for the Poor”, (providing food for hungry people.) We will also help issues that pop up like the Tsunami Flood, “Exobus”,(helping the Jewish people get home to their homeland country Israel.) James Robinson & Watoto, (helping the children of Africa; meeting their needs (providing shelter, food, & water.) giving donations to the “International Bible Society so they can provide bibles for people in other countries who want one, Send materials to Public Jail Cells, Cards & Gifts to show we care when we go to visit the elderly in nursing homes, food for the homeless to feed them, & do so much more. Your help will help us to make a difference in our communities. Offering love, hope, encouragement, showing how much we care; making our homes a safer place to live for our families, children & the next generation.
